Under Massachusetts law, retiree health insurance coverage is provided by the retiree’s former employer, not by the Middlesex County Retirement System.

Contact your employer to learn more about the health insurance coverage available to you in retirement. Be sure to ask about coverage for your spouse or other dependents and what happens to that coverage in the event of your death.
